Exemption From Intermediate!!!

No one is exempt from studying all the papers at this lelvel i.e. there is no qualification which would enable a student from bypassing the intermediate level and going to the final level directly.

Exemption From some Papers

Based on the academic qualifications already acquired, one may be permitted certain exemptions from appearing in individual subjects of the course. These exemptions vary from course to course.

      Exemption is available to:
      1. MBAs having specialization in systems
      2. MCA's
      3. Persons who have passed the 'B' level examination conducted by DOEACC or any other institution recognized by the institute.
      4. Graduation/Post Graduation in computer technology/computer science/information technology
    2. Paper 7: Business law and communication skills:
      Exemption is available to:

      3. Persons having LLB qualification with 50% marks

      Exemption is available to candidates possessing the following qualifications :
      1. M.A. (Corporate secretary ship)/MBA/M.Com with accountancy as one of the subjects at B.A. (Corporate secretary ship)/B. Com level with full paper in cost accounting/management accounting/ financial management at M.A. (Corporate secretaryship)/MBA/M.Com level of a recognised university and should have secured 50% marks in the subject concerned.
      2. Pass in the final examination of ICWAI
    2. Paper I: General and Commercial Laws:
      Exemption is available to candidates possessing the following qualifications :
      1. M.A. (Corporate secretary ship)
      2. Degree in law of a recognized university
    3. Paper III: Tax Laws:
      Exemption is available to candidates possessing the following qualifications :
      1. M.A. (Corporate secretary ship)
      2. Pass in the final examination of ICWAI
